As
an Exec Board, how are you going to use OrgSync?
·
How
will you utilize OrgSync for RHA or NHRR as a whole (ie: are you going to put
meeting minutes on it, what’s going to be on your calendar, what committee will
you have, to do list, etc)?
·
How
will you get memebers/ hall residents to add RHA as an organization on OrgSync?
·
What
is your plan to encourage members to continue to utilize OrgSync after they
join?
As an Eboard member, I'll use the resources on org sync to run my pillar. I might look to see if there's a way to make polls inside org sync to create sign ups for things like care packages.
ReplyDeleteI think putting the minutes on org sync is important. I think we could even start to use the timesheet portion to keep track of members involvement. We can also use it as a place to put documents to leave for future members.
I think we can clean up our files on orgsync and put useful information here. We could have an updated contact list, so that members would be able to get in touch with each other. I know we had a recipe for puppy chow on there somewhere that was useful for the service committee. I think it would be a great idea to do event write up and store them on there, so committees could look at what we've done in the past and grow from it.
Invite all members and encourage them to use org sync with incentives or expectations.
We could offer an incentive for using org sync or put important information that they'll need on org sync so that it is more necessary to use org sync.
As en executive board member, I plan on using orgsync as a resource for my pillar, as long as for the rest of the chapter. I think that having documents, calendars, and whatnot readily available for the chapter will allow us to have smoother meetings and less overall confusion, because each person would know that they can refer back to orgsync whenever needed.
ReplyDeletePutting the minutes on orgsync would be beneficial, since some people get annoyed when they get emails about it. I also think that having a calendar that displays both NRHH and RHA's events/etc at the same time would help get the chapter more involved in RHA's events (because sometimes you don't even know that they're taking place).
We could make it a requirement for members to add RHA, as well as sending invitations to each member. I think that having all of our chapter add RHA will strengthen the bond between our two organizations and also allow more participation in each others' events!
I think that the exec board should really stress the importance of our orgsync page at the beginning of the year. We should prepare it so that there are calendars, documents, FAQ, etc available so that our chapters know that it is a reliable resource. I think the reason that orgsync isn't as popular as a whole at Stout is because it is often left dormant and doesn't display new information.
1. As the Secretary I will be managing the OrgSync. Post upcoming events make sure everyone's status is updated, use for attendance and post minutes.
ReplyDelete2. For NRHH as a whole I will post all the service events on the calendar, the minutes and we are hoping to track an active member program on OrgSync as well.
3. I think making it a requirement to be added to our portal is a great start. I also will invite them on OrgSync so it will go directly to their email.
4. I think we just need to integrate it in everything we do, possibly to-do lists, reminders. It will be hard to integrate with the members but if we as an executive board use it, then I think our members will start.
1. As an exec board member, I plan on using Org Sync by keeping the chapter up to date on events and meetings, and using the to-do lists either for the exec board or for the entire chapter.
ReplyDelete2. I think having the meeting minutes on Org Sync is important so everyone can be informed about what went on at the meeting. I think utilizing the calendar will be a big benefit to both the entire chapter and also the pillars themselves. Having the calendar will help keep our chapter organized and will also be beneficial so we do not overbook ourselves.
3. To get members/hall residents to add RHA as an organization, I think you first need to get HEC to add them and then move to the residents. I think it should be a requirement for members and we could also have people add residents at backyard bash. Meaning we have a computer there, they sign up in right there, and add RHA.
4. I think making everything we do all about Org Sync....to-do lists, polls, maybe voting, attending events, etc. First we need to make sure they are comfortable with Org Sync and then start implementing it more.
